What goes in

  • 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lower sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 green onions, chopped

How it comes together

  1. To make the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, honey, and ginger. Hold nearby.
  2. Use a wide skillet over medium high heat, drizzle olive oil and sauté garlic until the aroma shows, about 1 minute. Add shrimp and cook until it starts to turn pink, about 3 minutes. Add sauce and continue to cook for another 2 to 3 minutes or until sauce is reduced, stirring regularly to coat shrimps with sauce. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  3. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
