Start your morning right with this Ginger Peach Detox Smoothie—sweet, creamy, and incredibly refreshing.

I love smoothies as a morning pick-me-up. They’re refreshing, nourishing, and portable—perfect for busy mornings when you’re heading out the door. The challenge is often the prep: washing, chopping, blending, and cleanup. That’s why I rely on frozen smoothie packs. Preparing several servings in advance saves time and reduces mess: simply pack measured portions of fruit, greens, and any add-ins into freezer-safe bags, freeze them, and when morning comes, dump a bag into the blender, add your liquid, and blend. It’s simple, fast, and convenient.

This Ginger Peach Detox Smoothie is one of my favorites because it tastes great and helps me start the day with greens. For this version I use frozen peaches, half a banana for creaminess, a generous handful of baby spinach, about a tablespoon of freshly grated ginger for brightness, plain Greek yogurt for richness, and coconut water to thin everything out. I lightly sweeten it with a stevia packet for a clean, low-calorie sweetness. It’s easy to customize—swap almond milk for coconut water, use avocado instead of banana for extra cream, or add a scoop of protein powder after a morning workout.

Tip: freeze small portions of plain Greek yogurt in an ice cube tray and add a couple of frozen yogurt cubes to each smoothie pack. This keeps your smoothies creamy without needing fresh yogurt every time. Also label each bag with the amount of liquid to add—one cup is a good starting point—and experiment with different liquids such as water, coconut water, almond milk, orange juice, or even kombucha for a tangy twist.

Making a week’s worth of smoothie packs takes less than an hour and makes busy mornings so much easier. If you exercise in the morning, add a scoop of your preferred protein powder to help recovery. Smoothies are an excellent post-workout option: they’re hydrating, easy to digest, and a simple way to deliver carbohydrates and protein back to your muscles.
