This Straightforward Air Fryer Salmon comes out perfectly tender and flaky on the inside with a lightly crisp, flavorful exterior all under 10 minutes. One of those recipes you will find yourself making on repeat because it is just that simple and reliable. Whether you're cooking for a busy weekni
Yes! For the best texture and flavor, thaw the salmon overnight in the refrigerator and pat it dry before seasoning. If you're cooking from frozen, add about 4–6 extra minutes to the cooking time, depending on the thickness of the fillets. Check that the internal temperature reaches your desired doneness before serving.
What goes in
- 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley
How it comes together
- Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F for about 3-5 minutes. Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel, this helps it crisp up nicely!
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Brush evenly over the salmon fillets.
- Place 2 salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket. Cook for 7-9 minutes, depending on the thickness. Repeat with the remaining two fillets. You will know the salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork. Salmon should read 125-130 degrees F for medium or 140 for well done on a meat thermometer.
- Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a sprinkle of parsley. Enjoy!
