Surprise your loved ones this Valentine’s Day with a festive mimosa bar filled with a variety of juices, fresh fruit, pretty decor and, of course, bubbly.

If you follow me on Instagram, you know brunch is my favorite thing to host—and no brunch is complete without a fun mimosa bar. I love having friends over year-round, but Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse to gather everyone and celebrate friendship, family, or a special someone. While I enjoy celebrating with my husband, I also love showering girlfriends with a little extra love and a festive brunch.
Mimosa bars are easy to assemble, always a crowd-pleaser, and instantly make any gathering feel more festive. Mimosas are a brunch classic, but you can elevate them with flavored mixers, fresh fruit garnishes, and decorative elements that match your theme. Whether you’re hosting a small get-together or a larger party, a mimosa bar is a simple way to make guests feel special.

What You Need for a Valentine’s Day Mimosa Bar
Mixers
No mimosa bar is complete without a selection of mixers. While classic orange juice is a must, offer a variety to keep things interesting: grapefruit, cranberry, fruit punch, raspberry, peach nectar or even sparkling fruit sodas. Different colored juices look beautiful when displayed together, making your setup visually appealing as well as tasty. Make sure to include at least one non-alcoholic bubbly option—sparkling water or club soda—so guests who prefer non-alcoholic drinks can join in the fun.
Glassware
Presentation matters. Use clear carafes, pitchers or glass bottles to hold your juices and show off the colors. Champagne flutes are classic and elegant, but budget-friendly plastic flutes or clear punch cups work well for larger crowds or outdoor events. Label each bottle clearly so guests can quickly choose their favorite flavor; you can tie tags around bottles or stick labels directly onto them for a polished, organized look.

Fresh Fruit
Garnishes make a huge difference. Arrange a variety of fresh fruit in small bowls next to the juices so guests can easily customize their drinks. Berries—strawberries, raspberries, blueberries—are always a hit and look especially fitting for Valentine’s Day. Sliced peaches, orange segments, pomegranate seeds and thin apple slices also pair beautifully with many juices. Try to keep fruit seasonal where possible: in winter you might use citrus and pomegranates, while spring and summer calls for berries and stone fruit.
Pair fruits with matching mixers—for example, peaches with peach nectar or prosecco, or raspberries with sparkling rosé. Providing small skewers or decorative picks makes it easy for guests to add garnishes without fuss.
Festive Decor
Decorating raises the bar for any party. For Valentine’s Day, a pink and red palette, soft florals and metallic accents create an inviting, celebratory feel. Pre-arranged bouquets and pretty vases make setup quick: trim stems to your preferred length, add water, and arrange. A decorative ice tub, a small planter filled with ice to chill bottles, or a mirrored tray for glassware adds both function and style. Keep napkins, straws and stirrers on hand—fun patterns or metallic accents tie the look together and are practical for keeping lipstick intact while sipping.

Pre-arranged florals are great time-savers—simply “chop and drop” into vases for an instant pop of color. Arrange flowers by color to coordinate with your mimosa bar’s palette and to make quick decisions while shopping and setting up.

Setup Tips & Timing
This setup takes minimal time with a little prep. Wash and slice fruit the night before and keep it refrigerated in airtight containers. Chill bottles of bubbly and juices ahead of time. On the day of the event, fill your ice tub, pour juices into clear bottles or carafes, arrange fruit in small bowls, and place labels on containers. Trim fresh flowers and put them in vases while everything else is ready to go. The final assembly should take about five to fifteen minutes, leaving you free to greet guests.
Mimosa bars work for many occasions beyond brunch: baby showers, bridal showers, holiday gatherings or weekend celebrations. Offer a non-alcoholic base like sparkling water or club soda so guests of all ages can enjoy a festive drink in a pretty glass.
One of my favorite tips is to reuse decorative items—tinsel stirrers, themed napkins and pretty picks—from previous parties to add flair without extra cost. Save what you can for future events.
Cheers to a lovely Valentine’s Day—easy to set up, gorgeous to look at, and delicious to sip!
